Is it safe to get a tattoo?
Yes it is, as long as its done in a professional enviorment. Our studio strictly adheres to safety precautions and customer safety.You can be assured that Dangerzone Tattoo requires each artist to hold client safety as the first and foremost priority. We have the highest level of sterilisation possible and go above and beyond all local health codes and laws.
Does it hurt?
Yes it hurts. But, there are lots of people walking around with tattoos so it’s not unbearable. There are many sensations used to describe it depending on each person and what area is being worked on. Some people even like it!
Can I bring my own picture or drawing for my tattoo?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring anything you think might help to capture exactly what you’re looking for your tattoo to reflect. In many cases our artists will encourage you to allow them to design a custom piece for your tattoo. We will work with you to create a piece that you will love! We won’t directly duplicate somebody els’s work without permission.
You’re welcome to bring any reference pictures to your consultation. It is important you do your research and get familiar with the artist’s style or work before you book in a consultation. It’s easy, just check out their Instagram pages to get the feel for their style (Link in Artists).
How much will it cost?
That depends on the size of the piece and the detail involved. Some pieces cannot be completed in one sitting. You will be given a quote once you meet with the artist and go over the details of what you want.
Our minimum charge is $100
Hourly rate between $150-$170. Depending on artist.
Remember, if another studio is willing do your tattoo super cheap BEWARE! Sometimes you get what you pay for and this is going to be on you forever. If you do go for the super cheap shop see question on fixing a bad tattoo!
It is our policy to collect a deposit when booking an appointment. Deposits generally range from $100-$500 depending on the size of the tattoo and number of appointments. We accept cash or bank deposits.
Artists carefully schedule and book their appointments based on blocks of time. Deposits serve as a good faith gesture to hold your appointment and to compensate the artist if you fail to show for your appointment time.
Deposits come off the total price of the final session.
Any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, will mean the customer will forfeit their deposit and a new deposit will be required in order to secure future sessions.
Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE and are valid for 6 months from the day of your booking. Any longer breaks between sessions will require a new deposit.
We are sorry if this policy causes any inconvenience but is necessary to protect the interests of our artists.
Are there any special requirements to get tattooed?
You must be 18 years or older for a tattoo.
We are strict in our requirements to ensure proper age and that valid legal ID is presented, so please call the studio ahead of time to find out exactly what you will need to bring to your appointment.
We NEVER under any circumstances will tattoo a person under 18 years of age.
It is the clients obligation to notify us about any medical conditions, or any use of prescription medication that could potentially thin the blood.

I have a tattoo that's really bad, can it be fixed?
Our artists can usually cover up or fix most tattoos, even really bad ones so you would never even know they were there. We are always honest though. If we don’t think it can be successfully covered we will let you know and work with you on what options you do have so you will ultimately be happy.
We never do a tattoo just to make a buck. This is a really good group of artists who take tremendous pride in their work and art.
Be assured that the artwork on your body and how you feel about it is a reflection on them – meaning your satisfaction is VERY important!
What kind of aftercare should I do?
Immediate tattoo aftercare
- Remove bandage after 2-3 hours.
- Wash tattooed area in warm water and antibacterial soap.
- Dry carefully and apply a thin layer of Bepanthen cream.
- Continue applying the cream 3-5 times a day for the first 2 weeks.
Optional: Cover the tattooed area with cling wrap over night for the first 4-5 nights.
While your tattoo is healing
- Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo
- Do not expose to direct sunlight
- Do no go swimming
- Make sure the tattooed area is always clean
- Always was your hands before applying cream or touching the tattoo
- Always use a fresh towel or paper towel after washing
